PLEASE PARTICIPATE IN anJie’s 2021 PASSOVER FOOD FUND-RAISING EFFORT! Our Passover Haggadah includes an invitation to “all who are hungry:” Come, eat, and celebrate the Passover Seder with us.
This year, we must confine our gathering to immediate family or electronic groupings. Next year may we all be free to join with family and friends with no concern for our safety.
While we cannot bring the hungry to our tables in person, we can invite them to celebrate the Passover with us in spirit. We have an opportunity to help some of the 12,000 Jews living in abject poverty in Ethiopia to celebrate Passover this year. Many are hungry. Many lack medical care. All are awaiting Aliyah to Israel with very little support.
$18 will pay for a family in Ethiopia to enjoy Passover with matzah.
Sponsor 10 families for $180
Sponsor 20 families for $360
Sponsor 50 families for $900
Click here to make a tax-deductible donation through anJie’s 501(c)(3) partner, SSEJ (Struggle to Save Ethiopian Jewry). SSEJ runs aid programming in the Jewish communities of Ethiopia, including ordering and distributing food and medical supplies. Unlike most charities, SSEJ deducts nothing for administrative overhead; 100% of donations go to aiding the communities. (For credit card donations, Network for Good charges 3%, which donors may choose to offset.)

On behalf of our hungry Jewish brothers and sisters in Ethiopia, thank you!
